The special feature is the use of an external hydraulic power unit (HPU) to drive the mechanical pump. Both motors have a power rating of up to 2 kW with a maximum speed of 10 900 rpm.

The A2VK series is also available in an explosion-proof version (ATEX) which can be used safely in potentially explosive atmospheres where flammable gases or dusts may be present. This version meets the requirements for Zone 1, Divisions 1, 2 and 21 as per DIN EN 60079-0.
