The V10/V20 Series is a compact, high-head, multistage pump with a positive displacement design that provides superior pumping efficiency at low speeds. It is ideal for applications requiring high heads and flows in close quarters, where noise and vibration are concerns.
The V10/V20 Series is available in two configurations: the V20 and the V10. The V20 is designed for higher pressures and heads, while the V10 is designed for lower pressures and heads. Both are available in single- or double-vane configurations, depending on the customer’s application requirements.
Vickers V10/V20 Series pumps are available with both single and double vanes. They are available with several different types of impellers and through-shaft seals, depending on the application. The double vane diffuser provides higher efficiency and lower noise levels than single vane diffusers.
The V10/V20 Series is designed for use in industrial applications where reliability is essential. These pumps are commonly used for water supply, fire fighting, vehicle wash down, irrigation and chemical handling applications.
The V10 pump series is offered in displacements of 3-30 cc/rev and the V20 series is offered in a wide range of displacements from 5.3 to 47 cc/rev.
The V10 series is a piston pump that uses a radial-type piston and rod design. The V20 series is a centrifugal pump that uses a radial-type rotor and stator design. Both series are available in either single or double vane configurations, depending on the application requirements.
Vickers offers a wide variety of options for these pumps, including corrosion resistant materials such as Hastelloy C276, Monel 400, Titanium 6Al4V, Inconel 625, Tantalum 605/T73 and Nitronic 60/N060; high temperature materials such as Hastelloy X (unalloyed) or Nickel Alloy 20; carbide inserts for maximum wear resistance; ceramic balls for low friction applications; and various shaft seals including Viton® Buna-N O-rings or custom seals to meet customer requirements.
De Vickers V10/V20 Series-Single vane pumps/ Vickers V10/V20 Series-Double vane pumps feature an aluminum housing, externally adjustable valving and a wide variety of shaft options.
The V10 Series is a single-stage centrifugal pump with a volute pressure rating up to 1,050 bar (15,000 psi). It features a non-clogable flow straightener and an optimized wear ring seal. The V20 Series is a double-stage centrifugal pump with volute pressures up to 2,100 bar (30,000 psi). It offers high head due to its low specific speed and can be used for either liquid or gas applications. Both series have the option of an integral mounting flange or an optional flange kit.
The V10 Series has a maximum discharge pressure of 1,050 bar (15,000 psi) and can deliver flows up to 3 liters per minute (LPM) at 2 meters per second (mps). The V20 Series has a maximum discharge pressure of 2,100 bar (30,000 psi) and can deliver flows up to 5 LPM at 6 mps
The pumps come standard with a precision-ground and lubricated shaft assembly that has a torsional flexure coupling to absorb vibrations and reduce noise. The pumps can be ordered with either a fixed or variable displacement configuration. A variety of options, such as different mounting flanges and shaft lengths, are available to meet customer requirements.
Pumps are available with either a complete port or an SAE standard A-faced port configuration.
The Vickers V10/V20 Series pumps can be used in applications where high pressures and flow rates are required. The pumps are available with either single or double vanes. The double vane design offers higher flow rates at lower pressures while the single vane design offers higher pressures at lower flows.
Vickers has been designing and manufacturing centrifugal pumps since 1834, making us one of the oldest companies in continuous operation in the UK today. We have built our reputation on our ability to provide high quality products that meet customer’s needs across a wide range of industries including power generation, oil & gas, process industries and offshore applications.
The complete port option can be configured as either a ”standalone” pump or as a sectional mountable pump for use as part of larger systems.

Single-Vane Pumps
The single-vane configuration is used when increased pressure drop is not required or when the flow rate is high compared to the pressure drop. These pumps have been tested to over 2000 psi (146 bar).
Double-Vane Pumps
The double-vane configuration is used when higher pressures are required, or when the flow rate is lower than the pressure drop. Double vanes can be combined with our optional back check valves, which allow for automatic bypassing of fluids that may be too viscous for pumping at higher pressures. Double vane configurations have been tested up to 3000 psi (206 bar).
The SAE A-faced port configuration is designed to mate directly with existing SAE A-faced components such as motors and valves.

The standard material for the pump housing of V10/V20 pumps is carbon steel, with optional materials being stainless steel and aluminum. Standard materials for the rotor are carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
The V10/V20 Series pumps are offered in a variety of sizes to meet a wide range of flow requirements. The pumps are designed for pressure up to 400 bar (60,000 psi) and temperatures up to 140°C (284°F).
The Vickers V10/V20 Series-Single vane pumps/ Vickers V10/V20 Series-Double vane pumps provide flexibility and ease of maintenance in industrial applications.
The V20 series is a compact, high-pressure, single-rotor centrifugal pump that can be used for both liquid and gas service. The V10 series is the smallest rotary vane pump in the industry.
The V20 series features a compact design that uses less space than other comparable pumps in its class. Both models are suitable for low flow applications such as water treatment, chemical processing and food processing.
The V10/V20 series is designed with a wide range of materials and options to meet your specific application requirements. Our engineers will work with you to design a solution that meets your needs.
