CAT is a good company, I think CAT 335 and CAT 336 are both very good machines. The only difference between them is the engine and the transmission.

The 335 has a Cat C9 engine and the 336 has a Cat C9 ACERT engine. The ACERT engine is the latest technology using High Pressure Common Rail fuel injection system, advanced electronic controls and hydraulically actuated electronically controlled unit injectors.

The 335 has an HST transmission and the 336 has an HST Plus transmission with auto shift capability

In my opinion, it is better to buy CAT 336 because it will have better performance, better fuel economy and more comfortable operation.
