The JCB Ecomax is a 4-cylinder, 74 hp engine that meets EPA Interim Tier4 and EU Stage IIIB emission legislation without the need for a DPF. It contains no Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) fluid or regeneration systems, which can be susceptible to blockages and downtime.

A range of operator comforts are fitted as standard including a heated air suspended seat with armrests, air conditioning and an adjustable steering column to reduce fatigue in the cab.

A powerful Tier II engine with standard auto-idle, auto shift and power boost deliver excellent fuel efficiency. The JCB Smart Hydraulics system enables you to dig faster, lift heavier loads and work longer. These machines are equipped with a Tier II JCB Dieselmax engine with a three-year, 3000 hour warranty as standard. JCB’s exclusive backhoe stabilizer design allows for optimum stability in all digging situations. An impressive 40-foot (12 meter) dig depth means less repositioning, less trucking and more productivity.

The JCB 150X excavator is a compact, powerful, low-maintenance machine for those who use their machines for both on and off-road applications. The JCB 150X has outstanding power-to-weight ratio and a fast cycle time of less than 18 seconds with a top speed of 3.2 km/h (2 mph).

The JCB 150X features an optimized wheel design with large, 135 mm diameter wheels which help the machine achieve excellent maneuverability in tight spaces. The machine has been engineered to deliver best in class performance by minimizing weight and contributing to its exceptional power-to-weight ratio. It is built for high productivity with a total weight that is up to 1.4 times lighter than its closest competitor. A compact design gives the operator a comfortable work position from which to operate the machine.

The JCB 150X also provides operators with the latest technology including an integral cab designed to reduce driver fatigue and improve ergonomics during long working hours. The hydraulic controls are positioned close to the operator so they can be operated while wearing heavy duty gloves or even while wearing heavy duty coveralls.
